Ive Heard Lakota ,ND has the best pizza in North Dakota. So i decided to go there and try it myself. To get there I took a plane so i would have some time in the afternoon to shop and look. After my two hr flight to Lakota I was hungry for pizza. First I went the air port rental place and rented a car to drive to Lakota and around Lakota. Next I drove to the only hotel in lakota and booked a night. Now it was time to try this world famous pizza I have been hearing about.

The pizza was was good it lived up to its title, but was time to go shopping. I was driving down the street when I found an old antique store. so I went inside to check it out. The shop was awesome with all the Indian stuff. Their were spears, shields, hatchets, muskets you name it. A I bought was a sack of Quarts crystal and some arrow heads.

The night at the hotel was long. I kept tossing and turning. I was kept awake by the sound of grass being trampled. I looked out my window and found a heard of buffalo grazing. Laughing to myself I put some ear plugs in and went to sleep. In the morning the Buffalo were gone. Though traces of them being there were all over. Buffalo tracks, Buffalo chips, trampled grass etc.

Its my last day in lakota so I'm going to make it count. I'm going to visit every restaurant in the town. Every shop, Library, and trail that I can find. So thats what I did. After going around and having some fun. I drove to the air port and returned the rental car. Then took a flight back to Kansas City.

I love the town of Lakota and all. Though its not the same as overland park. For instance, overland park has huge soccer fields and several good sized schools. Lakota only has has one school, one library, and one hotel. Both of them have trails to bike and walk on. In the end both places are good for trips and for fun.

This experience has helped me enjoy life. By making me get out of my comfort zone. Also has given me some new experiences that I will cherish for forever. It has also helped me get away from work and bills. Just have a good time. Cant wait to come back next year.

The town of Lakota was named after the lakota tribe, which means Dakota. Lakota is well known for its pizza that is made fresh daily. Plus you can go hiking, fishing, shopping etc. Thats the town of Lakota.
