FC: Marrying The Hangman

1: I had to read the poem a couple of times, and every time I read it I took it different ways. However, my last thought on it, or my last perspective of what the poem was saying to me, was that it was talking about a man and a gold digging female. He was lonely with money, and she wanted to be saved from her miserable or broke life, so they agreed to marry and fulfill their parts of the deal they made for another. Moreover, people from the outside looking in wondered what did they talk about, how did they go about making this arrangement, and how could they. It reminded me of Anna Nicole Smith, and many other gold digging women, or so they say.
