1: By me, Mayella Ewell.
2: I live inna lil' shack behind the Maycomb County dump.
3: I spend allmah time lookin' after my siblins, so I reckon I'm purdy lonesome-like.
4: Mah siblins' are [precious lil' thangs, but they act real rowdy sometimes.
5: Tom Robinson is a real helpful fella, even though most people don't seem to take to him all that much.
6: Tom's help 'round mah house has been real helpful, an' I'm purdy thankful that he walks by me erreday.
7: I didn't like goin' to court much. Erreone was lookin' at me and talkin' to me like I was no-good trash. It was real different compared to mah life at home.
8: Mah old chifferobe is sumpt'n I guess I miss havin' round, but I'm real glad I got Tom to stop by and chop it up for me.
9: Mah favorite thangs in the whole world are mah flowers, 'cause they're so purdy.
