FC: Vanessa & Michael
1: We witness a miracle every time a child enters into life. But those who make their journey home across time & miles, growing within the hearts of those who wait to love them, are carried on the wings of destiny and placed among us by God's very own hands. --- Kristi Larson
2: Our Letter To You Hello! Thank you for considering us as a possible family for your child and for taking the time to get to know us through our profile. We know that you have chosen adoption because you love your child and want the best for him/her. And for that, we admire your strength and courage. Together we have decided to expand our family through the miracle of adoption and could not be more excited! Michael and I knew immediately after we were married that we wanted to start a family. However, sometimes the plans you make aren't exactly what God has in store for you. So after four long years of trying unsuccessfully, and many discussions later, we came to the decision to adopt. It was not a decision that was taken lightly. We know that with adoption, a birth mother is going to trust us with their child's life. And to us, that is one of the greatest privileges we could ask for! As adoptive parents we want our child to know where he/she came from and what a blessing they are. We want to be open and honest with him/her and have already been thinking of ways to discuss adoption with them. We are open to the degree of openness that is best for the child. After all, it isn't about us, it's about the child.
3: There is nothing we wish for more than to welcome a child into our lives, our home, our hearts, and into our arms. | Michael and I are a close and loving couple. These last four years have been trying, but have only strengthened our relationship. Our marriage is built on love, trust, and respect. We have been blessed with a wonderful marriage and hope that soon we will be blessed with a child to share our lives and love with! We are very close to our families and spend quite a bit of time with them. Both of our families get along very well and occasionally do things like camping or dinner together. Our family and friends couldn't be more supportive of our adoption plans and for that, we are truly thankful! They are all anxiously awaiting for that special little one to join our family. We hope that with this book you can catch a glimpse into our lives and picture your child as part of our family.
