1: - He was born on May 11, 1952. - He was born in Oneida, New Hampshire.
2: He is an author. He also writes for the New York Times.
3: He began his career covering the New York Knicks on the New York Post. He began at age 23.
4: For more than thirty years, he has written articles, novels, and sports biographies. for the past 15 years, he has also been a TV anchor.
5: His shows are the Mike Lupica Show and The Sports Reporters. He has also been a regular on Good Morning America.
6: He wrote for ESPN The Magazine. He also wrote for Golf Digest.
7: On the radio, he has made frequent appearances on Imus in the Morning since the 1980's. He works along side Don La Greca and precedes the Michael Kay Show.
8: Lupica went to Bishop Guertin High school and he's a graduate of Boston College.
9: Lupica has written in many places. One of them is Pottstown, Pennsylvania.

17: Brian' dad left him and his mom to play baseball in Japan. Brian sees this Job as a way to bring back his father.
18: Brian's idol, Hank Bishop gets signed by the Detroit Tigers after being banned for using steroids. And an unlikely friendship slowly develops between this man in need of a family and this boy in need of a father.
