FC: Out perspective of The American Dream

1: The American Dream means to Live life happily and Wealthy. Not exactly being rich but not to struggle financially and to be able to provide for your love ones. Therefor No worries ,No problems. Obstacles that may prevent me from Living the American Dream can be Teen pregnancy because i can not take care of another individual currently. My education is more important. Also I can not financially support a child. DRUGS can also effect my future.

2: Protecting my American Dream Can be hard but i refuse to let anything or anyone come between my Dream an I. I am going to finish getting my education and continue work,and to play sports to keep me focused and out of trouble.

4: Over the summer i went to Kennsaw State University with some employees from work .That experience gave me the determination to want to go to college . My mother and Grandma inspires me to want to become the women i want to be. and accomplish my American Dream one day. I want to make better choices than what my family made . I will be a better person in life.

She has been ranked the richest African American of the 20th century, the greatest black philanthropist in American history, and was once the world's only black billionaire.She is also, according to some assessments, the most influential woman in the world.

8: oWhat obstacles stand in your way or have stood in your way in accomplishing your dream? As an young African American female, i face many obstacles trying to accomplish my vison of the American dream everyday life . Such as : - Teen pregnancy - Drugs - gangs - dropping out of school | - sex

9: what the American dream means to me !

10: How are you protecting or plan to protect your American Dream? I protect my plan by, always believing in myself and never letting anyone put me down. i also set goals for me to accomplish in a small time frame. I keep pushing my self and never say "i can't do it".

12: Over the summer i took a job at my high school , during the first three weeks of the job we had to attend different classes .One of the classes we talked about what we wanted to be in the future and how we were going to accomplish it. The two men showed me that i was not completely sure what i wanted to do and how i would do it, they gave me a few ideas that would help me. My other supporters are my family , friends, and teachers . The person who inspire me the most is my mother because i see how she struggle as a single parent who never had the chance to attend collage , and i never what to be like that and i want to be able to help my mom .

14: Barack Hussein Obama in the 44th and current president of the u.s. he is the first African American president .he has over come race issues , people never believing in him and many other obstacles. Obama has worked very hard to be come the man he is today he was the state senator of Illinois from 2005-2008. TO me he has concurred the American Dream

20: A family is pieced together with hope and faith. A family is quilted and bound with love and grace.
