BC: All these pictures WERE taken in Louisiana(:

FC: R | Meredith Sandridge Period 4 9/16/11 Mr. Riehle P-9 | Louisiana Lines

 Table of Contents | Congruent Objects.....2-3 Parallel Lines....4-5 Perpendicular Lines....6-7 Intersecting Lines...8-9 Acute Angles...10-11 Obtuse Angles...12-13 Supplementary Angles...14-15 Vertical Angles...16-17 Coplanar Objects...18-19 Collinear Objects...20-21 Adjacent Objects..22-23 Rays...24-25 Conditional Statement...26-27 Reflection...28

Congruent Objects | Congruent objects are objects that are the same. If those two objects where not congruent, then it wouldn't support the ceiling. It also would make the whole ceiling droop and not be equal.

Parallel Lines | Parallel lines are lines in the same plane which never intersect. If the lines were not parallel in my picture, then the train wouldn't be able run./The wheels wouldn't fit on the tracks and it might run into the other lane.

Perpendicular Lines | Perpendicular lines are lines that form congruent and adjacent angles. If the lines were not perpendicular, then the tiles would not be congruent.

Intersecting Lines | Intersecting lines are two lines that interest at exactly one point. Its important that these lines interest because if they didn't, it wouldn't symbolize the railroad crossing sign.

Acute Angle | An acute angle is an angle with measure between 0 degrees and 90 degrees. Its important that this window has acute angles because it is art. And it looks nice(:

Obtuse Angle | An obtuse angle is an angle with measure between 90 degrees and 180 degrees. If these angles were not obtuse, then the gate would not be that size.

Supplementary Angles | Supplementary angles are 2 angles who's degrees add up to 180 degrees. If these angles were not supplementary, then the wires could not support the wooden bench.

Vertical angles are 2 equal and opposite angels formed by the intersection of 2 lines. The person who created these angles probably did so to support the bench more.

 Vertical Angles

Coplanar Objects | Coplanar means that the points lie on the same plane if this object was not coplanar, then the shape would not be a rectangle.

Collinear Objects | Collinear objects are points that lie on the same line. If this object was not collinear, then the sign wouldn't be straight.

Adjacent Objects | Adjacent means that the angles have the same vertex. It is import that these angles are adjacent because it keeps the gate together. if it wasn't, then the gate would fall apart and not have a pretty pattern(:

Rays | A ray is part of a line consisting of 1 endpoint and all points on one of it. My picture is not a true ray. It is not a true ray because the railroad does not keep going.

Conditional Statement | If i eat at Arby's, then i will be in a good mood. A conditional statement is a logical statement involving a comparison. Arby's is trying to make you believe that if you eat their food, then you will be in a good mood.

Reflection the easiest part of this project was making the scrap book. I used mixbook, so it made things a lot easier. The hardest part was trying to find pictures for coplanar and collinear. Also describing how things would have not worked if they were such. My resources i used where mixbook, google to find the definitions and my pictures i took in Louisiana. I think this project was kind of difficult. I spent a few days working on this project. I think i deserve a C because i turned it in late, but my scrapbook is good.
