1: Nouns are people, places, and things. For example a girl is a noun. An island is also a noun. This palm tree is a very beautiful noun.

2: A singular noun is simply one noun. For example a clock, a fox, a penny or a person.

3: ...Or fox when you add es. Pennies is one when you change the y to an i and you add es. | ...Or people when you completely change the word. | Also you add es to words like church, bus, dish and buzz. | A plural noun is 2 or more nouns like clocks when you only add an s...

4: When you have a singular possessive noun it is one person owning something. For example Kara's clothes. Now you must remember to add an 's when you have a singular possessive noun.

5: A plural possessive noun is 2 or more nouns own something. Like the posters' colors. Or the babies' blankets. Always remember to add an s' when using a plural possessive noun.

6: A singular pronoun is like a substitute for the original noun. For example "she" would substitute a girl, or "it" would substitute a thing.

7: A plural pronoun is simply a substitute for more than one noun. Like "we" would substitute a group of people.

9: When you have a collective noun it is a group of more then one noun. For example a flock of sheep or a neighborhood of houses is a collective noun.
