2: "I remember it like it was just yesterday" started Thomas, "It was April...The 19th I believe, Lexington, Massachusetts, ' BANG BANG' gunfire Everywhere, British Solders here and American militia there....Next stop...Concord."

5: "The vote had been gained" Thomas continued, "Raise an army! Organize for Battle! Find Mr.Washington! Thus beginning the American Revolution!!!"

6: "Grandpa, What all caused the war?" asked John.

7: "Well John", Started Thomas "It all had begun in Europe.......

8: England had just been given a constitutional monarchy, The kings power was now limited. Philosophies had decided to create their own Nation."

9: " Colonist have lived in America for over 150 Years, the 13 colonies have each formed their own government, the people loved the Great degree of independence. Soon British laws were getting out of control, EVERYthing the colonist did would be inspected by British law"

10: "So the colonists didn't really have any FREE in their freedom?" Interrupted John

11: "You could say that....But by that time....." Thomas continued....

12: "British parliament had passed a new trade law, THe Navigation Act,Preventing the colonists from selling any important goods to any country besides Britain.

13: This act also causing colonists to pay extra taxes on French and dutch goods...No one knowing this harmony would soon Change......"

14: "1754, English and French have erupted in war in the North American continent" "The French and Indian War!!!" interrupted John. "Exactly!" Said Thomas "Britain Won, Right Grandpa? asked John

16: "Correct, Besides that win, Britain Had gotten behind on the wages of the war, Parliament had decided that the colonist would help to pay off their debt, Therefore starting the Stamp Act....

17: Colonist Lawyers were Furious “NO TAXATION WITHOUT REPRESENTATION” they had cried, this exalting the taxes on written documents.”

18: “What was the Boston? Tea? Party??? Grandpa” asked john. “The Boston Tea Party was a group of colonists that dumped a very large load of tea into the Boston Harbor. George III was Furious so he closed the port of Boston.” Answered Thomas

19: “I think they should have just came up with a plan to be friends, A plan to be independent, loyal, and justified” Commented John “They did, john. You remember the Declaration of independence Right? Written by Jefferson?, That document declared reflections of ideas in its eloquent arguments for natural rights by john Lockes Research on Enlightment.

20: The declaration ended by declaring the colonies separation from, Raining the Americas victorious for their independence....John? John?!”

21: John lay there asleep “Good night John” Ended Thomas
