2: If the railroad tracks were not parallel, the tracks would intersect and the trains would collide. | If the lines on the road were not parallel, people would be all over the road and would crash because the lines are not there to separate the lanes.
3: " | If shoes were not congruent, they would not fit right on your feet. One would fit and one would not fit. | If socks were not congruent, they wouldn't fit. Since they would be two different sizes if they were not congruent they wouldn't fit the way you want them to.
