FC: David Tennant
1: David Tennant was born David McDonald to Alexander and Helen McDonald in 1971 and raised in Bathgate, Scotland. He decided to be an actor at about 3 or 4 after watching Doctor Who. As soon as he could, he joined youth theatre groups and got some minor parts in small films.
2: After graduating from drama school, Tennant got a part in a popular BBC show called Taking over the Asylum, which ran for about a year. This role got him the notice of the BBC, as well as his first step into the acting business.
4: Tennant, after playing several minor roles in television and film, joined the Royal Shakespeare Company in 1996. He then acted in quite a few productions as well as dramatizations until about 2005.

8: In 2005, Tennant acted in arguably his most famous role: The Doctor from Doctor Who. He stayed in this role for five years before being replaced by Matt Smith.
10: Tennant is currently married to Georgia Moffett, whom he met while acting with her in a Doctor Who episode. They married in 2011 and have two children, Olive, age 1, and Tyler, age 10.
12: Tennant, now 41, is currently living in the UK, traveling and performing various roles. He considers Paisley, Scotland his hometown.
