FC: The great depression

1: The great depression was caused by the stock market crashing. Since a lot of people was putting their money into the stock market that meant that a lot of people did not get anything, and in fact were put into thousands of dollars in debt. Banks were going out of Business because of this and with all the banks going out of business you have no money circulating and so the great depression started.

2: The great depression was approximately from the 1929-1939

3: Life was rather bad for people even rich people. People had it all one moment and then nothing the next. Not to mention that unemployment was up to 30%. Also the AAA raised the prices of food and made people unable to buy anything. It raised farmers income for a while then for the farmers in the great plains got hit with a drought. Over all the lives of people were very poor and not so good.

4: Every body was affected by the great depression. Business, the rich, the poor, farmers, and even middle class.

5: How the great depression ended by one big change. A lot of people thought that the FDR's New Deal, Inflating the money supply would fix the depression. But it was The World War II. This was the cure for getting out of the Great Depression. On December 1941 America was officially in the WWII and marked the end of The Great Depression.
