1: 1. The Great Depression was caused because of the Stock Market crash in 1929. 2. The Great Depression lasted for about 11 years. 3. Life during the Great Depression was hard it affected not only people in the city but it also affected people living on farms too. Poverty during the Great depression made it harder to purchase farm products. Farmers had more farmed goods than they could sell meanwhile people in the city were going hungry. Farmers couldn't sell their crops which meant that they weren't getting paid which meant that they couldn't pay their mortgage and that meant that their houses would be foreclosed. 4. People all over the world were affected by the Great Depression including children and the elderly. 5. The Great Depression ended mainly because of World War 2 because the war was getting people more jobs and that started to boost the economy.
