FC: The Homefront
1: While millions of men stormed the beaches of France, the women, children and elderly were left to keep the homefront from falling apart.
2: Liberty Loans were loans that everyday people bought through bonds that helped fund the War. I has raised more than 21 trillion dollars.
3: War Industry Bonds made sure that the most essential raw materials went towards the War first. This act was passed by the President.
4: Some unions created a "treaty" with the President. In exchange for no strikes, the workers would receive government protection for maximum hours, minimum wages, and etc. This ensured an almost constant supply of materials for the men overseas.
