S: Trail of Tears
1: Andrew Jackson believed the Native Americans were not a foreign power, so he offered them two choices-- either become like other American citizens and get a job, or obey state laws and give up their tribal customs, vacate their tribal lands, and move across the Mississippi to land that the federal government had chosen for them to live.
2: Andrew Jackson did not have a good relationship with the native Americans. He believed that they were a threat.
3: The Creek Indians lost 22 million acres of land in southern Georgia and central Alabama during the removal act but they weren't the only tribes affected. The Cherokee,Choctaw, Chicasaw and Seminole were also affected .
4: The tribes were given a right to all of modern day Oklahoma except the Panhandle.
