1: Summary of the Civil War | The Civil War was fought in 1861 to 1865. The Civil War was mainly fought over slavery and states rights between the North and South. This was the bloodiest war ever, over 600,000 people died in that war. World War 1 and 2, the Vietnam War, and the Korean War totaled that many deaths.

2: Where was the Battle? | The Battle of Gettysburg was in Adams County of Pennsylvania. It took place in Gettysburg, Pennsylvania. | The Battle Grounds

3: When was the Battle? | The Battle of Gettysburg started on July 1,1863 and lasted for 3 days. The Battle ended July 3, 1863.

4: What was the outcome and how did it affect the war. | After the horrible 3 days in Gettysburg,Penn,the Union (North) finally won. The Battle of Gettysburg was actually was not that important and did not have a big affect on the Civil War. The Union needed a win so Abe Lincoln could give his Emancipation Proclamation Speech.

5: Were any Famous Figures of the Civil War involved? | The Battle of Gettysburg had a very high amount of deaths, but out of the 46,000 deaths only about 65 of those was Major Generals or other major people. Thomas Stonewall Jackson was one of those. He was probably the most important person.
