2: William Shakespeare was one of the greatest writers ever known. He was born in Stratford-of-Avon on April 25, 1564. He was baptized 3 days later on the 28th. During his birth an outburst of the plague struck killing both of his older sisters. He was now the first and only son his parents have.

4: William Shakespeare's parents weren't peasants. While his mother stayed at home taking care of him and being a major influence on him his father was one of the major glover and leather workers in his town. They lived in a nice house in Stratford-of-Avon. While young William was growing up education was very important to his family.

6: He was only 11 when he first went to the festival. It was his very first influence for his plays later on in life.

7: He was pulled out of school at the ages of either 14 or 15 to be is fathers apprentice.

8: He got married to Anne Hathaway on November 28, 1882. They had 3 children. A daughter Suzanna and twins Judith and Hamlet.

10: In 1592 he went to London to peruse his actor and writing career. During the 1590s and early 1600s he wrote 37 plays156 sonnets.

12: Some of his most famous plays were Henry the 6th, Richard the 3rd, Romeo and Juliet, Macbeth, King Lear, A fellow, and The Tempest.

14: All of his sonnets were dedicated to a man, the dark lady, and cupid. :)

16: His son died of the plague which influenced him to write the play Hamlet. He usually lived away from his family. He didn't have a very happy marriage. He worked and partly owned the Globe theater. As he becomes older he becomes closer to his daughters, Since his sons death he had no one to leave his will to so he left it to his eldest daughter. He died at the age of 52 on his birthday, April 25, 1616 from high fever. His plays weren't published until 1623 by his close friends.
