FC: World War two | The beginning... | And the end...

1: ! | After putting Germany at a stand still, Japan spontaneously attacked the American Naval Base at Pearl Harbor in Hawaii.

2: December 7, 1941 was the day that Japan Attacked. Four days after the attack, Hitler declared war on America.Four years later Germany surrendered and the war was over.

3: Hitler thought that it was intolerable for ethnic Germans to live in Czechoslovakia. War was near. During March of 1939, Hitler took hold of the rest of Czechoslovakia, but was not giving full attention to Poland. Hitler and the dictator of the Soviet Union signed a secret nonaggression pact in August 1939. Hitler invaded Poland on September first 1939 and that, was the start of World War II

4: There were two different sides to this war. The Axis powers and the Allied powers. The Axis powers consisted of Germany, Italy, and Japan. The Allied powers consisted of US, Britain, France, The Soviet Union, Canada and Australia.

6: Of course, weapons were a huge part of WWII. They used all kinds of rifles, grenades, machine guns, snipers, mortars, and knives. Some countries also used tanks.

7: Rosie The Riveter was an American icon. She represents the women who worked in factories during World War II. These women also took place of the males in the military.

8: During the late 1930's, The Great Depression was some what coming to an end, but a lot of people were still poverty stricken. but then the suffering American Economy got a skip in their step when the fighting countries were getting low, and

9: needed more supplies made for them and they looked to America for that task. America entered the war in 1941 and enrolled more then 10 million men and women. those who didn't enroll worked in the factories that made the supplies. America was on its way to restoration.
