FC: Birth - 1 year
When I found out I was going to be your mommy, I was so excited I could hardly wait to meet you. | March 2007
 7 Months
While you were growing in my tummy, I sang to you almost everyday. I wanted to eat a lot of chicken, Cooked Broccoli, Fruit, and Ice Cream. And I couldn't stand the smell of coffee. You loved to jump on my bladder. And sometimes I think I would feel you flutter if I was in a warm bath.
? | Before we knew if you would be a boy or girl, we had 2 names picked out. If you were a girl, your name was going to be Mara Jade. If you were a boy, your name was going to be Aiden Nicholi. Well when I wrote the names down for your dad, he read you name as Aidien. So when we found out you were a boy, we couldn't agree on your name. I wanted your name to be Aiden, and your dad wanted Aidien. Well finally, the day you were born we decided your dad would get your first name, and I would get your middle name. Aidien Nicholi Jaggers
Your First Ultrasound Pictures 27-28 weeks
Aidien Nicholi Jaggers | Date: September 1st, 2007 Time: 4:21 pm Height: 11 inches Weight: 1 pound 4.8 ounces Scott and White Memorial Hospital, Temple TX Delivered By: Dr. Green and Dr. Guo
Mommy gave birth to you when you were 30 weeks along. I didn't get to see you right away. You were very tiny, so the doctors took you to stay in the NICU (neo-natal Intensive Care Unit). The Nurses took a picture of you and showed it to me so I could see how beautiful you were. You had to stay in the Nicu so you could grow and be healthy. Finally after 3 1/2 months you were able to come home on December 20th 2007. I was so happy to finally be able to bring you home and hold you in my arms. I sang to you every night and hummed your favorite song. "the lullaby song".
 First Picture | September 1st 2007
When you first came home you were still so tiny. You could barely fit into your preemie clothes. Sometimes you had to sleep in your carseat so you wouldn't spit up as much. You came home with some medicines and 2 machines that would tell us if you were alright. They were called a Pulse Oximeter, and an Apnea Monitor. The Apnea Monitor was very loud.
Mommy, Daddy, and Lilli's matching hospital bracelets
Happy Birthday | Mommy made your very first birthday cake. You still had your cleft palate so you didn't get to eat any of it. But you loved looking at it.
 September 7th, 2008 | Today you are "1 "
"Splish-Splash I was taken a bath" | In this picture you can see your Gastrostomy Button. Or your G-Tube. This was given to you on December 4, 2007. This tube leads directly to your stomach. Because you have a Cleft palate (meaning you are missing a part of the roof of your mouth) it is hard for you to eat through your mouth. So this is how you eat. We attach a tube to the button. That tube is attatched to a bag filled with your formula. We turn on the feeding pump and it travels to your stomach.
When you were little I would give you baths in the sink at Grandma Margies house. You loved to splash the water and play with your fish and ducks. The only part you didn't like was when we let the water out and it made a very loud noise. | "Rubber Ducky, you're the one" "You make bathtime, lots of fun"
Someone wonderful, new and sweet. Has come to make my life complete. | October 2008 | This was your very first time Trick-or-Treating. You went with Mommy, Grandma Margie, and Grandpa Larry. | You were a pumpkin | First Halloween
You trying some baby rice. You still didn't like to eat food by mouth very much. But we tried as much as we could to get you comfortable with it. You liked to spit it out or just get it all over your face.
 Trying to climb the stairs.
 Hiding under the couch
Christmas 2008 At Grandma Margie's and Grandpa Larry's | You loved to play under the tree and feel he different wrapping paper.
You weren't walking yet. But you could roll from you stomach to your back and you rolled under the tree. | Look, you were trying to open presents! | You got lots of clothes from santa. He also brought you a few toys that year.
