FC: Cells! A Fun Way To Learn!

Now this is what my momma told me, that 1: New cells only form from cells that already "alive". But my momma said 2: that all organisms are composed of one or more cells! True, but my momma also said that cells are the basic unit of life!(: well, I guess then we're all right!

In 1662, He SAW tiny compartments in the cork of aN OLD tree, and gave them the Latin name: Cellulae(meaning small rooms) GUESS WHO; ROBERT HOOKE! IN 1838 he THOUGHT that the nucleolus IN THE CELL BULIDING are closely related. he decided that each plant cell leads a double life- one DEPENDENT one independent. GUESS WHO; MATTHIAS SCHLIEDEN | Ok kids..time for a bed time story..!

 - In 1839, after years of studying the structure and growth of animal tissue. He FOUNDED that; as well as plants INVLOLVING cells and cell product, And even though the cells are part of a whole organism, they have a whole individual life of their own. GUESS WHO; THEDOR SCHWANN - In 1849, he completed his studies of cell growth and reproduction of their division into two cells. He FOUNded that every cell comes from an already existing cell. GUESS WHO: RUDOLF VIRCHOW

There was once a cell called Prokaryotic! He had no nuclei and this made him very left-out, because Eukaryotic cell did! Prokaryotic Cell was only friends with E. Coli bacteria, and Salmonella bacteria! They had fun, but no as much fun as Eukaryotic Cell ahd with his buddies: Yeast and Human Breast Cancer cell!

Plant VS. Animal Cells Plants and Animal Cells don't get along! For one, Plant cells have cloroplats, and animal cells do not. Animal cells don't have a cell wall or avery large vacuole and plants cells do. Animal cells also don't have a flagellum or a centrlal, but plant cells do! And that's the story of animal cells verses plant cells.

Ten Cell Structures Cell Membrane-It is a wall that protects the inside of the cell from the outside and controls what goes in and out. Cell Wall-The difference between plant and animal cells, The wall is composed of cellulose, polysaccharides, and proteins. Ribosomes- where proteins are made, is made up of a dozen differnent proteins as well as RNA, some ribosomes are suspended in the cytosol. Some proteins are used to build new organelles. Cytoskeleton- provides structure and interior framework of the animal cell. Some determine shape of the cell and some seen provide transportation of info from the nucleus to different parts of the cell. Cilia- Cilia and flagella move liquid past the surface of the cell | WOW, thats a lot of words mommy!!

Mitochondria- is the cells power producers. They convert energy into forms that the cells can use . It's also where cellular respiration happens. Nucleus-controls the cell, surrounded by a double membrane called the nuclear envelope are nuclear pores that help the nucleus communicate with the cell. In the nucleus there is DNA and the nucleus is in the middle of the cell. Centrioles- Each one is consisted of 9 triplets of microbules arranged in a circle, it guides spindle fibers to split on chromosomes during mitosis. Chloroplast-Supplies energy needed to power plant cells.

CELL MEMBRANE Cells have a wall, like a house, on the outside of their membrane. It's what keeps them protected from the outside world, and it's what controls the things that go in and out. | Wow! I didn't know cells had houses too mommy!

Homeostasis- Its to reach an equilibrium and to maintain internal stability. | THATS ALL FOLKS! SEE YA NEXT TIMEE!(:
