1: At 1 year old, Cole is not yet walking but will stand up along furniture and walk around while holding on. He has only his front two bottom teeth and the beginnings of his bright red/orange tuft of hair. He says Mama, Dada, and Nur, his word for nurse, which he still does about twice a day. He loves his green soothie pacifier and is becoming attached to his blankie. Cole ditched his bottles at 10 months for a tippy cup and now enjoys whole milk.!He eats everything in site with ribs and bananas being his hands down favorite. | 12

He plays with his big brothers and loves riding on their backs like a horse. Daddy is Cole's hands down favorite person at this age, except Cole still prefers Momma to put him to bed. Cole "man talks" a lot still (pointing and yelling), but has mastered saying "no!"

22: An unseasonably warm day
23: Cole discovered the rock bed and assumed meticulously picking out rocks to throw them into the window well hoping for a rewarding metallic "ding!" He clapped his hands most exuberantly... if only all of life could be as perfectly simple!
24: Cole had to be woken up for Easter so his overall demeanor remained a bit low-key. He enjoyed his first year old enough to find Easter eggs with some help from Cameron. The bunny left duckies, fruit snacks, and Cole's first crayons and paints!

52: Birth | 1st Birthday | 2nd Birthday
53: Cole no longer gets a pacifier except in the car. He loves his numerous blankies (all the ones with satin trim) and has to bring them ALL, be it 2 or 10, when leaving his bed. Mom rocks him & his monkey to sleep every night and sings Elvis. His vocabulary is rapidly expanding! Some of his often used words are more, no, eat, stuck, help, squirrel, bye-bye, owie, and Mom's favorite "PLEASE!" which sounds more like 'peas.' He is not quite ready for potty training but shows interest in the potty chair and uses it on occasion. He still loves to snuggle. He adores his big brothers but does occasionally bite them during rough play! He has seen two movies in the theater, "Monsters Vs. Aliens" and "G-Force" which he enjoyed as long as he had plenty of fruit snacks. Cole weighed 30 pounds at his 2 year old appointment and didn't even cry with his shot. As Cole officially leaves babyhood behind and embarks on the big boy part of his life, Mom is a little sad but very excited to meet the wonderful young man she knows he'll grow to be. | years
