Barely showing | Easter 2010 | Pregnancy brought it challenges, but every time I felt your sweet movements it made me smile. It was such a special time that I will always cherish.
 Over | the | Moon | Excited!
There is such a special sweetness in being able to participate in creation.
FIRST PEEK | April 5th, 2010 | Before I formed you in the womb I knew you... Jeremiah 1:5 | Five Months Along | This was the day we found out you were a boy!! We were So...EXCITED!
 MOTHER-TO-BE | June 2010 | Mommy at 7 months pregnant
NEW BEGINNINGS | YOUR PARENTS | Mommy and Daddy at dinner at Dante's July 28th, 2010
Awaiting a Miracle... | For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother's womb. Psalm 139:13
No one else will ever | know the | STRENGTH | only one who knows | sounds like from the | Inside. | of my love for you | After all... | You are the | what my heart
Anything | I remember sayin'I don't care either way Just as long as he or she is healthy I'm okay Then the doctor pointed to the corner of the screen. And said "You see that thing right there? Well, you know what that means" | He'll probably climb a tree too tall and ride his bike too fast...End up every summer wearin' something in a cast...He's gonna throw a ball and break some glass..in a window down the street...He's gonna get in trouble, oh, he's gonna get in fights. I'm gonna lose my temper and some sleep It's safe to say that..I'm gonna get my pay back.. | Like Me... | And I started wondering who he was going to be. And I thought Heaven help us if he's anything like me | If he's anything like me...
I can see him right now, knees all skinned up. With a magnifying glass tryin' to melt a Tonka truck. Won't he be sight with his football helmet on? That'll be his first love till' his first love comes along. He'll get his heart broke by the time he's in his teens. And Heaven help him if he's anything like me. | He'll probably stay out too late and drive his car too fast Get a speeding ticket, he'll pay for mowing grass. He's gonna get caught skipping class...and be grounded for a week. He's gonna get in trouble, we're gonna get in fights. I'm gonna lose my temper and some sleep. It's safe to say that I'm gonna get my payback... If he's anything like me
He's gonna love me, and hate me, along the way. The years are gonna fly by...And I already dread the day. He's gonna hug his Mama, He's gonna shake my hand. He's gonna act like he can't wait to leave But as he drives out, he'll cry his eyes out If he's anything like me. | There's worse folks to be like.... | Aww....he'll be | Alright | If he's | Anything | Like Me...
I Love you, little baby. You're such a part of me. Can't wait to hold you in my arms, and hug you tenderly. No matter what you look like, you're beautiful to me. A precious gift bequeathed to me, from heaven far above. Each time I feel you moving, my heart is filled with joy. To think that very soon, I'll hold you my little boy. I'm counting every moment, till you're mine at last to hold.

You and Grady shared your big shower since your due dates were so close. It was a drop in shower and tons of people came to celebrate you. You got all kinds of cute clothes, and other baby stuff. It was so much fun sharing this special time with family and friends.
 -------- | --------- | Shower Guests
This was your shower that our college friends gave you. They always joked that we should name our son Nintendo Nash. They are a great group of friends that Mommy and Daddy have had some wonderful times with.
I had so much fun doing your nursery. I have always loved plaid for little boys, so I searched for the perfect plaid bedding. I ended up ordering it from Pottery Barn Kids. I loved it. For the theme I mixed plaid and sailboats. It was a nautical themed room. It turned out really cute. Mema helped us to buy your furniture. We got it from The Baby's Room in Kennesaw. It is a dark cherry set, that will one day be your big boy bed as well. I found a rug from Pottery Barn Kids as well that had sailboats on it. It all came together really well. One of Ray's friends from work, Kevin, helped us put beadboard around the bottom of the room. I also ordered two paddles to go above the crib, and Granny found a decorative life float ring that said welcome. I then found some cute picture frames and other nic-nacs to go on your shelves. Your curtains were just plain blue with valances that had sailboats on them. I liked how it all came together. It definitely looks like a little boys room, and the plaid is something you can use for a while.

YOUR BIRTH STORY | CHOOSING YOUR NAME | We took a lot of thought in choosing your name. A name is something that is very special. We wanted something different and unique...something you don't hear everyday. Hudson was unique, but at the same time a good strong name. Your middle name, Jefferson, is from your Granddaddy. His middle name is also Jefferson. That is how we got your name, Hudson Jefferson Nash, and it fits just right!

Bringing you home was like waking up and everyday being Christmas morning....we had brought home the best gift anyone could ever hope for. Each day I looked forward to just holding you, watching you sleep, seeing your little hand grasp my finger, seeing your precious little yawn as you drifted off to sleep again. I hated leaving you and missed you terribly!! This year we have so very much to be thankful for. God has blessed us with a beautiful, healthy, baby boy. At three months old you still like getting up about every three hours or so to eat at night. Some of your favorite things are smiling, sleeping curled up with Mommy, and your pacifier. This month you are learning to grasp toys. You are starting to like holding onto little toys. This month is also the month we get to start getting ready for your Daddy and I's favorite time of year...CHRISTMAS!! We love decorating the tree and house, Christmas music, movies, and cookies....just everything that comes along with the season. 88: Four Months Old | You turned four months old on December 22nd, 2010, right before your very first Christmas. We were so excited for your first Chirstmas...God had blessed us with the best gift of all..a precious, healthy, baby boy. At four months old you loved to smile at Mommy and Daddy, and you were starting to enjoy your toys. You could now grasp them very well. You were almost rolling over, it definitely wouldn't be long. You were learning to eat your first solid food...rice cereal. You didn't seem to like it to much. You were also starting to sleep a little better at night, but you still loved sleeping on Mommy's chest. You still got up about twice a night...around 2 and 6 or so. You loved cooing, laughing, and smiling.

All you learned your fourth month... | Well, as I was looking over your calendar I realized a lot happened your fourth month. This month you especially like to smile, laugh out loud, babble, play with your toes, and show us how you can roll over onto you belly. This month brought some new milestones. On January 10th, while Mommy and Daddy were home with you because of the snow storm, you rolled over all by yourself. Then on January 16th, you and Daddy were playing in the floor and you laughed out loud at Daddy. So cute. You still love to jump in your jump-a-roo. By the end of the month you are wanting to sit up rather than lay down. You also love rattles and toys now, and are able to grab at all kinds of things. You especially love grabbing glasses when they are in our hands. This month you have learned so much. We can't wait to see what next month holds.
Five Months Old... | Well, this month brought lots of changes for both of us. Changes that were just as hard for me as they were for you. On January 24th, you started your first day at Primrose. It was Sooo.... hard for me to leave you. You slept really good that night. You get startled easily at daycare because you don't like loud noises..this makes me sad. Well, I guess along with daycare come germs. This month you had your first fever. You ended up at the doctor several times, and had several fevers before the end of the month. No fun. This month was your first Valentines Day. You are starting to cut your first teeth. You are getting your two bottom front teeth. You love to laugh...and have the cutest laugh, if I say so myself. This month you especially love to play with toys, and the tags on your toys. You are drawn to anything red, and like to feel things. One of your favorite toys now is you Scout doggy that Aunt Susan gave you for Christmas. He sings lullaby's, and helps you go to sleep. This month you learned how to roll over from your belly to your back. You can officially roll over both ways. At your doctors visit on February 12th, you weighed 20 lbs 3 oz. You are growing like a weed. We love you more than you could ever know.
