BC: THANK YOU!!!
FC: BRAD AND DANI'S ADOPTION PROFILE | 1 Samuel 1:27 "For this child I prayed; and the LORD hath given me my petition which I asked of him"
Greetings from Brad and Dani!!! Hello, and thank you for taking the time to review this book and for getting to know us better. | We are so happy that you are considering adoption for your child. The love, care, and strength that that takes is truly amazing. We know friends of ours and family members who have adopted or have been adopted themselves, so we know how special this process is. We hope this book gives you a window into our lives, and the life your child would have if placed with us.
OUR STORY !! | We are Bradley (“Brad”) and Danielle (“Dani”), and we live in Missouri and have been married for 5 years. We were high school sweethearts and knew from very early on that we would spend the rest of our lives together. We both love children and have always said we could not wait to start our family. Unfortunately, that journey has been a long and hard one with many challenges involved. We are glad to begin a new chapter in our lives as we progress through the adoption process. Let’s start at the beginning. We got married in December of 2006 at the Jewel Box. We had a large wedding party because we | wanted to include all of our very close friends. We had a beautiful wedding day; Brad, being the goofy, fun guy he is picked “Hit Me with Your Best Shot” by Pat Bennetar for our song to cut the wedding cake. You can image what that lead to! The day turned out wonderful and we have truly enjoyed married life ever since.
After about one year of marriage (around August 2007) we decided that we wanted to have a family, so we started trying to conceive. Something we thought would happen right away didn't happen in the first 6 months. We were told due to our young age that we needed to keep trying for at least a full year and that it would happen on its own. But it didn't. We then moved on to the scary world of infertility treatments. Over the next 4.5 years we saw a number of specialists to help us to conceive. In 2009 we meet with a wonderful doctor from Saint John's Hospital and after several rounds of IUI (intrauterine insemination) we thought our dreams had come true. In April of 2010 we had our first positive pregnancy test. We were so excited and even got to see the amniotic sac and yolk sac.We went back at 6 weeks for an ultrasound and found no fetal pole. I then went on to miscarry at 7 weeks. That was so hard on both of us, but we fought through our grief and decided to try again. We had 2 more early losses, one in 2010 and one in early 2011. We were devastated and felt completely lost, so we took the summer off from treatments. In late October 2011 we went to | St. Luke’s Hospital and we proceeded to do 3 rounds of IVF (in-vitro fertilization) with no success. This was the end of the road for us in the world of infertility and thus began our adoption adventure. We are both Christians and we know without God to lean on we would not have made it this far.
What Brad says about Dani “Dani is a very kind and loving individual who always puts everyone else first. She enjoys ‘kicking back’ and spending her time with friends and family. One of the things I love about her is that she has always taken an interest in my hobbies and is willing to learn more them even if they are not something she would normally do. She is a great listener and is always open-minded about things until she gets all the facts. When it comes to children, Dani is wonderful with them. She is so patient and truly loves all the children she meets. We teach a bible class at our church and she may have 5-6 children under the age of 2 in the class with someone crying, someone trying to throw their hair clips, and someone trying to tell her what they want with pointing and grunts, and within a few minutes into class she has them all listening and watching her. I know she wants nothing more than to have a child of her own. A little one she can watch and help grow, hear their first words, and see their first steps. She has excellent family values and is like the caregiver of our group of friends. Everyone comes to her because they know they will always have a listening ear and a supportive friend.” | Dani holding baby Carter at the hospital

What Dani says about Brad "Brad is a good man who is always willing to help others. He has been that way since I met. He even received his Eagle Scout Award by assisting ‘Meals on Wheels’ to identify houses in need by placing stickers in their windows. He is a loving husband and he will be a wonderful father. We have friends who ask us to watch their kids just because Brad is so good with the kids and is such a good male role model. He loves deeply and says he wants to be a dad to have fun with his kids and pass to his kids what his dad taught him. Even though our lives so far have not been easy he is always there to support me and tell me it will be okay. He tells me we can work through anything if we do it together.” | Brad stops for a picture before we head to a Halloween party

Brad Brad graduated from high school in 2002 and attended college for 2 years. He has worked as a land surveyor for almost 9 years now. He has worked for 3 different companies and is currently working at a small surveying firm and loving it. Brad truly enjoys surveying because he loves to be outdoors. | Careers & | No wonder Brad likes to work outside everyday,,,, just look at that view.
Dani Dani graduated from high school in 2002 with Brad and then went on to college. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. She has worked with animals and kids for years and in 2009 started her career with a major financial advisory and brokerage firm where she works in the IRA retirement operations department. She enjoys her job and the interactions with different people on a daily basis. | Education | Graduation from UMSL with a B.S. degree in Biology,,, so proud.
We both have many interests and hobbies that we share, and we often enjoy doing them together. We both love the outdoors and enjoy camping, hiking, fishing, and hunting. Our first big camping trip with Brad's dad's family was for a grave yard clean up a few years ago. We went down to Markom Springs, had a fish fry on Saturday night and had around 60 people join us to eat. Since then it has become a yearly tradition. We also both like to go wheeling, and that's where we take our Jeep out off-roading. I got to drive for the first time this year and it was a blast for a city girl who was born with the heart of a country girl. | We stop for a picture in the middle of a river on some really cool river rock | smokies trip 2011 | Our home away from home in the woods | Halloween with hippie brad | state line in the mountains enjoying the view
Brad also enjoys bowling and is on a league during the winter months. In addition, he likes to play golf and actually likes to participate in occasional charity golf tournaments or work tournaments. (He is currently preparing for one coming up!) | Dani enjoys cooking and baking, but especially baking. She has taken several cake decorating classes and has gotten pretty good at it. She also likes to sew and has made several baby quilts for different members of the family. She has also made one for our future children to snuggle with and enjoy. | This is the final for my third cake class | Brad loves to play sand volleyball
Reed | Lilly | Mama | Sassy | Our Home | Christmas time
We have a cute 2 story house in the city with a fenced-in back yard. This is a family home as it belonged to Danielle's great aunt before she passed away. We are blessed to have such a wonderful home and plenty of room for our family to grow. We also have 4 pets! We have 2 loving cats; Mama is 14 and Lilly is 6. They both love attention and will sit in our laps and purr for hours. We have 2 dogs; Sassy is 8 and Reed is 7. They are both smaller dogs but with lots of love to give. They love kids and they are very gentle around them. We have watched many, many children over the 7 years that we have lived in our house and the animals have gotten very used to being “loved” by all the kids. We have a very loving home and all who enter know that they are our welcome guests. We truly believe that everything is blessed by God and he has truly blessed us with everything we need.
This is our nursery that we have set up for our future child. It is like our hearts.... open and ready to be filled. The room has a Winnie the Pooh theme and is full of books to be read, toys to be played, and clothes to be worn.

Our group of friends is really more like an extended family because we are so close. We all get together almost every week for our “Friday night dinners,” as we like to call them. We all bring a side dish and have a good time just relaxing at one of our houses. This time is spent out around the fire pit, inside watching the TV, or around a good old board game.
j | This is picture of some of the families in our church at a camp out weekend and Sunday service under the trees.
We have yet another group of people that we call an extended family, and they are our church family. We go to a Church of Christ where we live and are part of a congregation where the children outnumber the adults. We are a very close group and enjoy the many potlucks, camping, and picnics. We especially love our annual fall party and talent show put on by one of the families every year. It is always so fun to see the kids get up and sing, to drink homemade hot apple cider, and eat till we want to burst!
As you can see we have a huge support system that has been through the ups and downs with us as we have tried to have a child. When we told them that we were starting the adoption process we got so many hugs, emails, and prayers that it was truly moving. They all cannot wait to meet the newest member of our family when he or she arrives! Again we would like to thank you for taking the time to look at our adoption profile book and getting to know us a little better. We would love to get to know you and learn your story.
