2: Peyton James Hemmelgarn June 30th, 2011 5:46 PM 7 lb, 19.5 inches
3: When you were born you were quite awake. You had a great cry and cleared your lungs. You did a great job of feeding right away without any problems. Throughout our hospital stay you slept most of the day, except for when being fed. Barely cried at all. | Born at Essentia Health in Detroit Lakes Dr. Riddle was your doctor
4: First Day Home: We took you home around 3 PM from the hospital. You slept the whole way home. We were pretty nervous and drove about 50 mph. It was fun to get settled and figure out our new life at home with you. You rarely cried, only when you were hungry. You ate about every 2- 2.5 hours and nursed very well. We were welcomed home to a bunch of balloons, flowers, meal and cookies from various family members. The first night you slept in the pack and play next to our bed. I don't think I slept at all as I was worried about crying, breathing, warmth, etc. Daddy stayed home with mommy for a couple days and that was nice as he was a great help.

Your cord came off while grandma was watching you. Mommy had to go in for a test/scan and grandma found it in the couch. Sleeping: You are a good sleeper.
