Our journey through our pregnancy with you, Abram. We had such an incredibly smooth pregnancy and delivery. We couldn't have been more blessed than to have you as our son! You have a few older siblings; Jayne, Isabella, and Danya. We will always cherish the short time we had together. We were ecstatic and blessed when pregnant, sad yet blessed with the losses...and Jesus was, is, and always will be with us. | Isabella | Jayne
Jayne & Isabella January 7th - March 11th 2010 On our way home from Mobolize, we swung by the closest CVS and picked up a test. We snuggled together in our freezing apartment as we waited for the results. It felt amazing to be pregnant with TWINS!!! Danya April 11th - April 22nd 2010 The pain from losing the twins was still fresh, when we realized we were pregnant again with at least one more baby. Since my body wasn't healed from the surgery, we lost Danya a few days later. Abram Kingsley Born: July 18th, 2011 I found out I was pregnant immediately. We were currently in the process of checking my progesterone levels, so everything was being tracked. I was excited and nervous.
Your first picture! | The day we found out you were a boy!
Watching you grow for 9 months... I didn't seem to show until 20 weeks, and then shortly after that I looked full term. I had people at the end of my second trimester thinking I was almost due.

I didn't really have any food cravings, but I had a looooong list of aversions. My favorites are pictured below. Your daddy was super sweet to buy me all sorts of goodies that sounded great, and then eat them for me when I realized I hated it after the first bite. :)
Daddy eating a cherry for the first time in his life!
We had a sonogram with every doctor visit! I looked forward to every second I had a chance to see you. With every visit I could see how much you grew, and hear your heartbeat; it was wonderful! This 4D sonogram picture was taken during your third trimester. I had double the amniotic fluid that the average pregnant lady had, so they checked for all sorts of reasons. Fortunately, everything was perfect! :) | Sonograms
We were so excited to tell everyone we were having a boy!
We are terrible at keeping baby related secrets, so we shared that you were a boy with everybody and everyone as soon as we could! No worries though, the picture showing you were a boy was kept hidden :)
Your daddy and I are silly and already picked out a handful of baby names while we were dating. So your name was chosen easily and quickly. :) Abram: High Father Kingsely: From the King's Field Ross: Headland
Your great grandparents, Jack and Judy Ross (mostly Judy), designed and painted your nursery for us. It was perfect!
The first time I felt you kick was both amazing and weird at the same time. I realized that I actually have a real human being growing inside of me. You had grown so much that your little legs and feet were strong enough to kick! WOW! I will never forget that first kick for the rest of my life.
My wonderful coworkers were so kind to throw me a baby shower! Shortly after that your grandmama was super sweet to plan 2 more showers for us (one for friends in Saint Joseph, and the other for family in Kansas City). The generosity of my coworkers, family, and friends, brought tears to our eyes. We felt so loved, and we knew that you were already cherished - before anyone even met you!
 July 18th, 2011
You were ready to meet us on July 18th, 2011! While it all started at 6 in the morning, I didn't even realize I was in labor until sometime past 11am. Your daddy and I took a long walk, prepared breakfast, got ready, packed, ran a few errands, picked up lunch, and visited your grandmama for a bit before we went to the hospital to find out I was already dilated to a 7. I was in labor for almost 16 hours (most of it fairly comfortable) and then you were born at 9:28pm. Holding you for the first time was the most incredible and surreal feeling!
