1: Vegetables can be sold raw, cooked, fresh, frozen, canned, dried (dehydrated), whole, cut-up, and mashed. | Any vegetable of any 100% fruit juice is a part of the vegetables food group.

2: How are Vegetables Categorized?

3: Vegetables are organized into 5 subgroups. These groups are based on their nutrient content. The 5 subgroups include dark green vegetables, starchy vegetables, red & orange vegetables, beans & peas, and other vegetables.
