5: FRIENDSHIP SOUP is a Kindergarten Favorite from my teaching days. Each person in the class brought in a vegetable to cut (with a real knife) and add to the soup. | My Last Kindergarten Class 2010 | 4-5 | Auntie Kathie, Kari, Jack, and Grandpa Tom. Jack is three months old.
6: BEVERAGES | Auntie Kari makes SMOOTHIES for her crew! You need a freezer, a blender, your favorite fruits, a straw and a glass! Put all your ingredients into a blender and watch your SMOOTHIE appear! If the blender has trouble mixing the fruit, stop it and rearrange the fruit or add a little liquid.. ALWAYS MAKE SMOOTHIES WITH AN ADULT! | Or create your own special SMOOTHIE with your favorite fruits!

8: Healthy SNACKS | Raw fruits and vegetables are always a good snack choice--and fun to prepare for yourself and a buddy! Wash raw fruits and vegetables well. Be very careful when using a knife to cut them. When cutting a round object first cut it in half and then put the flat side on the cutting board. Now it won't roll away from you! Then finish slicing it! Yogurt is a healthy dip for fruit slices, and Ranch Dressing or your favorite dressing is great with vegies! | FUN TO FIX Strawberries Grapes Oranges Peaches Kiwi Melons Blueberries | Carrot Pennies Cucumbers Grape Tomatoes Cauliflower Frozen Peas Corn on The Cob Snap Peas
