3: Optical Drive | Keyboard

4: Process | Process happens in the central processing unit (CPU) the CPU is where the computer does its work, where the processing takes place. On a microcomputer the CPU is on one single chip.

5: ComputerChip | Headphones

6: Memory | Memory is where data is stored until needed. Random access Memory (RAM)- permanent memory, stores the programs that are built into the computer (like the operating system) this memory cannot be changed.

7: Flash drive | Floppy disk drive

8: Output | Output is the job (and a device) that gives data back in a use able form. The "O of I O (input output) the types of output are soft copy and hard copy.

9: Printer | disk
