3: When a mysterious word in Heidi's mother's vocabulary makes her wonder about her past, Heidi takes a trip to New York. A quick cross country trip should help right. But it's not that easy. Many challenges, obstacles, and people to overcome make her trip more difficult. But with courage, luck, and a little help from some people along the way, she might just find out about herself.
5: The setting takes place in the two apartment where Heidi, Burnadette, and So B. It live.

8: The book is about a girl who knows nothing about her past. She takes a trip from Nevada to New York to find out. She finds out about her past in the end, but then her mother dies. The lesson of the book is that knowing who you are and where you came from is very important to your life.
10: I liked this book alot. It makes you want to read it more and find out what happens next. It is very sad, happy, and exciting and parts in the book. This book is very similar from the other book we read this six weeks, The Cay. They both made you feel different in every part of the book. In So B. It, Heidi's mom was mentally disabled, but in The Cay, the boy was blind.
