3: The deer is a mammal. | Other mammals are horses, cows, and wolves.

4: The "white-tailed" deer refers to the white underside of the deer's tail.

5: The white-tailed deer is the most popular of all the deer.

6: White-tailed deer eat leaves, twigs, grass, corn, fruits, and nuts.

8: A female deer is pregnant for seven months. Another name for a female deer is doe.

9: A doe can give birth to one to three young at a time. | A baby deer is called a fawn.
