FC: How to make a Valentine's Day decoration

An easy, inexpensive, fun project for kids and adults!

Supplies Needed: Iron Foil Wax Paper Ribbon Tape Exacto Knife Crayons Sharpener

First, cover the iron with foil and turn it on medium high heat.

Second, lay down way paper on surface. Next, peel back paper on crayons and use the sharpener over the wax paper. Let the wax shavings fall onto the paper.

After you have a substantial amount of crayon wax shavings down, use a top sheet of wax paper and lay it on top of the other wax paper.

Next, use the iron and gently press up and down until the wax is melted into a desirable pattern.

Next, use an exacto knife to cut hearts (or any shape). Make sure you are cutting on a safe surface.

Use adhesive dots, glue, or tape to attach the hearts to ribbon.

Arrange the hearts into the order you want to hang them up in.. Use tape to hang them up on your window.

And you are finished! The daylight will play off of the transparent wax paper and crayon way, creating beautiful colors!
