FC: Anne Frank Made By: Hannah Ely

I chose to do my project on Anne Frank because I would like to learn more things about her and her life. Another reason why I chose to do my project on Anne frank is I find her story fascinating. I like to learn about people's lives and what they have done in their lives.

Somethings I already know about Anne Frank is that she was a Jewish girl. She was born in Germany on June 12, 1929. She died in Bergen-Belsen concentration camp around March 1945. She had a sister Margot. Anne and her family went into hiding in 1942.

I got this information off the Internet, in the encyclopedia, in books.

What is the importance of Anne Frank in history today? | Anne Frank is important to history because her dairy tells us about the impact of war on Jews and non-Jewish people. It helps us know what went on though Anne's eye in the war, and how she saw life in world war 2.It also helps us learn what they were going though. To tell us the before and the after of what happened in the war.

What started the Holocaust? | Adolf Hitler became a leader of the Nazi Party. He became head of the German government. He made himself a dictator. Hitler blamed the Jews for everything that went wrong in Germany. He also made laws to hurt the Jewish people. During the 1930's the Jewish people were not alone to join the armed forces, they also could not practice medicine.

What was Anne Frank's life like before the war? | Anne's life was different before the war. She could play outside with her friends and kids of different religions. She could go swimming, ice skating too. Anne lived in a nice house and had a lot of friends. Anne and her friends played jump rope and hopscotch. She could go to school with kids from other religions too. Her family took vacations to the beach. When the war stared she had to go to a all Jewish school and all of her teachers were Jewish too.

The information I collected Anne Frank is important to history because her dairy lets us know some things that went on in the place she was hiding and it also helps us know what went on in the war. Like the before and the after of the war. Adolf Hitler became a leader of the Nazi party. He didn't like the Jews because he thought they caused all the problems in the government. Anne had a good life before the war started she played outside with her friends. She even went to school with other kids that had different religions. When the war started all the Jewish people had to wear yellow stars on there clothes. They also had to go to an all Jewish school that had all Jewish teachers.

Somethings I learned with this project was that Anne Frank is a important girl in history. If Anne Frank had not written her diary then a lot of kids and adults would be missing out on a great story. I learned that Adolf Hitler hated Jews and blamed them for EVERYTHING! Also Jewish people could not practice medicine or join the armed forces after all the laws that Hitler made. Anne had a normal life before the war, she did everything that a normal girl would do at her age in her time.
