1: In England around 1665 Charles the second was king. In June 1665 when the gates of London were closed the only way to get through was to present a certificate of health.
2: A plague swept through Europe from 1348 through 1351, It killed about 25–60% of Europeans
3: Men went from town to town whipping themselves because they believed that the black death was a punishment from GOD.
4: In 1665 to identify houses that were infected by the plague the would put a red cross on the door.
5: O U R F I R S T K I S S | Those who had the plague got boils that appeared in their groin and armpits they were called Buboes.
6: When the Black Death first hit nearly one third of the population died. The Bubonic Plague originally came from China.
7: Melcombe was the first Dorset port in England to encounter the plague. Jews were blamed for the plague.
