1: Why did the U.S. get involved in WWII? The U.S. got involved mainly because of the attack on Pearl Harbor. When did the U.S. get involved in WWII? The U.S. got involved the day after Pearl Harbor which was December 8, 1941-September 2, 1945.
2: How did WWII start? Hitler's invasion on Poland. Japan took over Manchuria bringing China into the war. Japan attacked the US Fleet at Pearl Harbor bringing the US into the war. Germany invaded the USSR bringing the Soviet Union into the war
3: How did the war start? (Prior to US involvement) The cause of the war was from the national tensions, unresolved issues, and resentments. What countries were involved? Allied: Britain, France, China, US, Soviet Union, Canada, Australia. Axis: Germany, Italy, Japan.
