3: Setting: | In an old house

4: Summary: Coraline moves into a new house with her parents. Coraline is always bored and her parents are always working. She discovers a door to a life just like her life, except it more fun and her parents don't work all the time. And everyone has buttons for eyes. Her life is so much better than her real life. And at the end her other mother traps Coraline's real mother and father so she will have no choice but to stay, but Coraline saves her mother and father and she appreciates her life as it is is and never goes through the door again.

5: Theme: The theme of this book is to appreciate your life as you have it.

8: Conflicts An internal conflict would be with her parents. She wants to spend time with them, but they are always working. An external conflict would be that she really likes to explore around her home, which as you can tell at the end of the story it can get her into trouble.

9: Resolutions She could talk to her parents about spending time with each other.She could also be very careful while she is exploring around their home and if she explores something strange she shouldn't go back to it.

11: I thought this was a very good book.Some good parts are when, the girl first goes into the other world and she is very confused. Some bad parts are when the other mother tries to make Coraline love her and Coraline doesn't want to love her. But in all the book was fantastic!!
