BC: The End
FC: By Alex Curry | Book Report
 Crocker By: Kin Platt Fiction
This story ranges from a street corner, to the beach, and to Samuel Ogden Wilson Hatcher High School. Everything takes place in Los Angels California.
Summary! In the beginning of the story Dorothy meets Crocker. Crocker is the new guy at school and Dorothy likes him. She actually thinks that she is in love with him. Once she realizes how much she likes him her ex boyfriend Mark wants her back. She also Finds out that her best friend Juliet likes Crocker also. Dorothy goes through allot of drama with Mark and Juliet. Later on Crocker admits to liking Dorothy. Dorothy feels that Crocker has a bad said so she is scared to get involved.
Theme! I think the theme of the story is to always be honest. When you are not honest a lot of drama can go around. Also, you can lose a good friend or just a very important person in your life. You still need to be honest even when you know it might hurt another person. "Honest is the best policy"
Dorothy Springer Clark is the main character in the story. She is very pretty with brown hair. The entire story revolves around her. | Crocker Bundy is a very important character. He is a new guy Dorothy meets. He has blond hair and blue eyes.
Juliet Shawn is Dorothy's best friend. She is older than Dorothy. She has blond hair and blue eyes. | Mark Witter is one of Dorothy's friends. He dated her a year ago. He still likes Dorothy and wishes that Crocker did not exist.
 Conflicts and resolutions!
internal: Dorothy is upset because her best friend likes the same guy she does. External: Dorothy and Juliet fight over crocker. Resolutions: Dorothy calls Juliet ad explained to her how she felt about Crocker. Dorothy apologizes the next day for being selfish.
The author of my book is Kin Platt. He was born in New York City. December 8, 1911. He had one son named Christopher. He enjoyed playing golf, piano, and juggling. He was a cartoonist, painter, writer, and sculptor. HE wrote many books for children and adults.
Recommendation! I would recommend this book to any teenager. It shows you that drama is pointless. It says that drama is basically just a wast of your time while you could be making memories. While reading the book i never wanted to put it down. It only took me two days to read. I do not normally read but i really enjoyed this book
