6: About the Author and Recommendations | Darren Shan was born in London, but moved to limerick Ireland. He liked to watch Dracula and reading spooky comics which inspired him to write the Trials of Death. Recommendation My recommendation is that it is ok except for the fact that it repeats itself a bunch. Other wise it was a good book.
