2: THE WORLD IN SPATIAL TERMS :) Location can be described in two ways: Absolute and Relative

3: Relative Location :) Most people locate a place by relating it to another place. | When people use relative location they use a common store, resurant, or entertainment center (movie theatre, park, ice skating rink)

4: Absolute Location Absolute location is the exact spot where a certian place is. | To Find Absolute location you use imaginary lines called longitude and latitude. With these lines you are able to find an exact spot where a place is.

5: A place is a certain space with physical and human meaning | Places and Regions!! | A region is a group of places, grouped together by certain charact-eristics

7: Physical Systems Geographers study and figure out how certain natural disasters effect Earth's surface

8: Some of the natural disaster that they study are FLOODS HURRICANES and VOLCANOES

9: geographers also see how people shape, or effect the earth. They try and find out how people compete or work togther | HUMAN SYSTEMS

11: Geographers also look at the environment and try and find out how people use the environment. | Environment and Society | they also look at the results from they changes people make to the environment.

12: One thing they also look at is the physical enviroment because it effects where and how people can move from one place to another. Mountains or desserts form barries that humans can not get across. IN other areas human activities cause changes in the physical environment, like dams.

13: Uses of geography | There are tons of uses for geography. Its used to see how plants and animals developed in the past Also to find data on Physical features. Also helps find important places like fire stations
