Ernie and Mr. W | Ernie is 5 years old. He lives with his mommy and daddy and his pet cat Mr. Whiskers.

Ernie loves to eat. His favorite foods are donuts, French fries, and he really like burgers.

Every day if he did not get any he would cry until his mommy or daddy bought some for him. This went on every day for a whole year.

Two months before Ernie turned 6, he went to the doctors. His mommy had noticed that he was starting to get fat and wanted to have him checked out.

Doctor Cake took one look at Ernie and knew that he would have to change his diet. He told Ernie's mom that if he kept eating that much junk food he would get sick.

Ernie's body needed fruits and vegetables to help balance out his health. Dr. Cake told Ernie's mom that if he did not start to eat more healthy food he would be at risk for diseases like heart disease, cancer, stroke, and diabetes.

He told Ernie that a healthy diet was one of the best ways to prevent diseases and stay healthy. Dr. Cake then gave Ernie's mom careful instructions for Ernie's new diet. He even showed them the food pyramid and how the balance worked. He even explained what Ernie's food pyramid currently looked like and cautioned him how it could affect him later.

That day when they got home his mom cooked some vegetables with dinner. Ernie was not happy and threw a tantrum, but his mommy did not listen. She explained that everything on the table was healthier for him, but that they still tasted good.

Ernie did not like the new food his mom was making him, he did not even have to taste it he just knew. He did not like the new exercise plan the doctor gave him either. So he decided to not listen, he would sneak candy bars and chips to eat all the time.

One night he went to bed after eating a whole pint of ice-cream and he had a dream. In the dream he was in Candy Land. He went around eating French fries from the ground and picking gum drops from bushes, and donuts off the trees. He ate his way to the Candy Land Castle where he ate part of the walls.

"The kind of Candy Land was the Junk Food Dragon, when he saw what Ernie had done to his kingdom he went after him. Poor Ernie had to run but because he didn’t eat very healthy he could not run far or fast. The Junk Food Dragon caught him and made Ernie promise that if he would eat healthier he would let him go.

The next day when Ernie woke up he still remembered his promise, and began to eat healthy. He liked it so much more he was not as tired all the time, he had more energy to play outside with his friends. Ernie ate all of his fruits and vegetables and grains and even everything dairy and meats and beans. He was becoming such a healthy boy, his risk for disease went down and he was able to enjoy life. | In 1872, King Chulalongkorn graciously elevated these to town status, called Krabi, a word that preserves in its meaning the monkey symbolism of the old standard. The town's first governor was Luang Thep Sena, though it continued a while as a dependency of Nakhon Si Thammarat. This was changed in 1875, when Krabi was raised to a fourth-level town in the old system of Thai government. Administrators then reported directly to the central government in Bangkok, and Krabi's history as a unique entity separated from the other provinces, had begun.

He was allowed an occasional treat, so every once in a while he would get to eat chips or burgers. For his birthday he got a great big slice of cake, and to him it taste better than any sweet he had ever had because he only had it occasionally. Everyone was so happy because he was now healthy again.
