FC: Ghost Dance Religion | And The Wounded Knee Massacre

1: How the Ghost Dance Started | The Ghost Dance was started by Jack Wilson (wovoka) and used with-in many Indian belief systems. It was first practiced among the Nevada Paiute.

2: Why the Ghost Dance Was Made | The Ghost Dance was created to offer a peaceful ending to the Americans westward expansion. It also was a way to preach the goals of clean living, and an honest life.

3: Where the Problem Started | Americans did not enjoy this, they felt as though there beliefs were being questioned, especially with the fact that they were trying to get the Americans to stop moving westward and they were shunning the Americans beliefs.

4: The Wounded Knee Massacre | The wounded knee massacre occurred when the Indians tried to escape peacefully when they realized how much it angered the Americans.

5: During this Indians ran into a group of American solids and were brutally slaughtered and many arrested by the troops sent in to take care of the Indians.
