1: A Year in Review | -The gymnosperms are a group of seed-producing plants that includes conifers, cycads, Ginkgo,and Gnetales. -The term gymnosperms means "naked seeds". | Introduction
2: Gymnosperms | Gymnosperms belong to the kingdom of Plantae. Plantae includes all types of land plants with a wide range.
4: Characteristics | -Gymnosperms are seed-bearing vascular plants that do not bear flowers. | -The gymnosperm is either woody plant, trees, shrubs, except seldom vines. -Archegonia, multicellular egg producing organ in gymnosperms, lack neck canal cells. - All are wind pollinated.
5: -Male gametophytes of all gymnosperms produce pollen tubes. - Leaves are poliage and scale seeds. -Naked seeded. -Posses well developed root system.
6: Gymnosperm significance | -Provide food and cover up a wide range of wildlife. -Large forests prevent soil erosion. -Reduce greenhouse gasses.
7: Gymnosperms are very important to humans in terms of marketing.Conifers are used for wood to make wood products. Also wood contains an essential oil that is used for products such as perfumes, cleaning products and disinfectants.

10: Interesting Facts | - Originated in the Tertiary period. -In the bible, the leaves that Adam and Eve used to cover up were fig leaves. -Includes some of the largest and oldest and extravagant trees known. -The world tallest tree, the red wood, is a conifer.
