1: Hot air balloons all carry a basket to hold the passengers. Its also apart of the balloon. | All Balloons have burners to make them fly. This burner puts air in the balloon and makes it go into the sky

2: The First hot air balloon was launched in 1783 on a September afternoon.

3: In 1978, the Double Eagle was the first balloon to fly over the Atlantic which was a big benchmark in the history of ballooning.

4: History Continued.... | The first hot air balloon was made of linen and paper.

5: In 1783, on August 27th, a French chemist Jacques Charles invented a certain type of balloon that used hydrogen to get off the ground. Hydrogen actually had been discovered several years before and was very explosive.

6: A parachutes valve is a flap that lets hot air escape at a certain rate slowing ascent or causing descent.

7: If hot air doesn't get let out by the parachute valve, it can cause the hot air balloon to go down in flames.
