What sacrfices should people make for freedom?
United States of America | During the recession, many citizens are giving up the freedom to shop expensively and instead are trying to cut back to save money | Paying for education is getting harder, causing families to not have extra vacations and such things in order to keep their children educated.
For ideas concering civil rights such as gay and animal, many go over and beyond to fight the cause till the end to get the choice they believe in. | gdds | gjhldsgbsdgdsgds | sdgdsgagdsa sd
South Africa | Like America, South africa is equally hit with the recession which also causes the same effects just like America. | Education in South Africa is harder than most in America. After the Apartheid, years later, schools are still not equal. In the rural areas, many families still struggle sending their children to school, which they are determine to do.
During Apartheid, which was a major event in history, many "Colorued" citizens would risk their life everyday to get equal rights, which relates to America in civil issues.
When does the government have the right to restrict the freedoms of people?
United States of America | The government has a right to tap into phonelines and listen on to citizen calls which can limit how in depth a person can go with their speech before its too far. | Along with South Africa's apartheid America had their own event the civil right movement.
The govrnment also can have the right to restrict government if it protects the safety of the citizens.
South Africa | Government limits how much South African citizen can dicuss on public sites on the internet such as myspace and facebook about issues including war and civil rights. | During the Apartheid period, the whites who powered over all other races restricted their education by not funding enough for all to go.
During the rallies that many citizens parcipate in dealing with civil right issues, governments would send police to stop the scene. | Another issue dealing with Apartheid is how many citizens were rejected with going to public areas showing that there were limited everywhere during this time.
