FC: Jem Finch | By: Dylan Cornell and Megan Finneseth
My name's Jeremy Atticus Finch but ev'rybody calls me Jem. I'm the bravest boy around an' I never refuse a dare. I also love football. It's my favorite sport.
I live in Maycomb County. It's one of the hottest, driest, places to be in the summer.
My father, Atticus, is prob'ly the most important person in my life 'cause he is very honest and doesn't judge people by how they look.
My sister Scout is also very important to me. We do everything together and I'll always be there for her.
The Tom Robinson trial greatly affected me 'cause I don't understand how a clearly innocent man can be found guilty.
Another thing that really changed me was when I had to read to Mrs. Dubose everyday for over a month. She showed me that if you try hard enough you can accomplish great things.
These pants are very important to me 'cause when I found 'em all stitched up and folded it made me view the Radley's as real people.
This watch is important 'cause it has been passed down in my family an' is part of the Finch history.
"If there's just one kind of folks, why can't they get along with each other? If they're all alike , why do they go out of their way to hate and despise each other?" (Lee 227). This quote was chosen because it shows Jem's view of the world. It shows that he thinks that people should, at the very least, try to get along with each other.
 To Kill a Mockingbird
