FC: Kinsey Lipscomb book

1: The Sweet Drink When I was one years old my family and I went to Tennessee to visit our cousins. Once we got there we went to the motel where my great uncle Sam owned at the time. When we got there we settled into the motel room. Later that afternoon my father and I were on the bed, and I took his hat and put it on my head then took his Mt. Dew he had in his hand and drank it like it was my milk in my bottle. Mt. Dew, the taste was so sweet, the first time i had tasted it. Mt. Dew was an still is my dads favorite drink.

5: The Green Grass Hill When I was three years old my brother and I were sitting on the top of the big green grass hill in Tennessee where we loved to roll down. The smell of the fresh made hot dogs hit the air, it smelled good to my starving stomach. The touch of the uncut grass stung my skin as I was rolling down the green grass hill. I heard the sound of the country band playing to entertain the people sitting in rows waiting to hear them. The sight of small kids lining up to get candy in the parade, the sight of their small faces craving candy.

10: Inside Water Slide One very hot summer day when i was six years old, my brother and I were bored out of our minds and our mother was asleep because of the hard working job she had. My brother and I just thought of an idea. A great idea to us at the time. My brother and I decided to pour buckets of water in the floor and slide across the floor sense we weren't aloud outside. We grabbed a couple towels and two buckets and filled the buckets with water. We poured it on the floor and slide for a good hour or so until we heard our moms door open. My brother and i had to think fast thats all we could do, so we put all the towels on the floor to clean the water up. All my mom asked was "why do you guys have so many towels out?" and i just looked at her and said " I don't know." and she went on to make her coffee.

11: When I was eleven years old I got my first best friend that went to my school. Her name is and was Abby. Abby and I had known each other sense we were in kindergarten but we never talked, we really met in 5th grade summer. That is when i relized that we sent the whole summer together and we had the strongest friendship. The first time we when somewhere to eat together was McDonalds. I remember I wouldn't stop talking. In that summer, we always rode bikes to the park.
