BC: "He He He He"
FC: Lamb to the Slaughter By Roald Dahi Genre: Mystery
1: Charles Johnson | Ms.Jackson 7th Period October 21,2011
3: In this nerve wrecking, twisted story, there's a couple, the Maloneys, whom at first seem to no relationship problems.Though your a opinion will change as you progress into the begin of the story.
5: This story took place mainly in the Maloneys' house, but also took part in the grocery shop.It was Thursday between the time of 5 o'clock p.m. probably to the time of 9 o'clock p.m.
7: There are three main characters in this story. The first is Mary Maloney. She is the one who cause this story to become the twisted mystery it is .She seems so sweet and kind, but she clever. The second main character is Patrick Maloney. He's the victim of this confusion. He seem to be independent and clueless. The third main character is Jack Noonan. He's very devoted to his work. He's also generous and willingly to help comfort those who are in need.
9: Mary Maloney, a young pregnant woman in the 20th century, was waiting for her husband Patrick to come home from his job as local detective. When he returns,Mary notice he wasn't acting normal and suggest that he is tried from work. Its not told, but it was pretty comprehensive that he is leaving her.Seemingly in a trance, Mary fetches a large leg of lamb from the deep-freeze in the cellar to cook for their dinner.Patrick notices her going into the kitchen and yells at her not to make him dinner because he's going out. She strikes Patrick in the back of the head with the frozen lamb leg, killing him.She accepted the fact that she had killed him.THough she is scared will her child live. She began to cook the lamb leg and begins practice a cheerful line and visits the grocery shop. Upon returning to her house she find her husband dead on the floor. She called the local policeman. After the detectives were at the house for so long she decided to let them eat the lamb leg. That was the only evidence they had. Basically the theme of this story is everything is not always solved. Also good doesn't always triumph .
11: Lamb of the Slaughter was a very interesting sorty to me.The reason I liked this story is because it keep my attention. There was things that happened unexpectedly that can caatch the reader of gaurd.Without that it wouldn't have been a mystery story.I liked how Mary Maloney got the detectives to eat the lamb leg that she use to hit her husband Patrick. It always good to see the bad guys win everynow and then.It was prefect for the description of a mysery story.
