FC: Let's Go To The Aquarium!
Wow! There it is! I can finally see the aquarium.
After we went through the doors, it opened up into a safari area.
 There was even a waterfall!
Birds were flying over our heads. It was pretty cool. Parrots are so colorful and noisy!
The crocodile and the alligator were huge!
The turtles were so cute! | Some of them had long necks, and others had short necks.
We were so excited when we saw Nemo and Dory! | Nemo was really shy, and liked to hide behind the coral. Dory was not shy. She came right to us and would not stop swimming, swimming, swimming!
Our teacher warned us about this guy! He's very poisonous, but still very cute.
On the other hand, worms are slimy and not cute at all. They like to eat dirt. They also help with your mom's garden.
The sponge and anemone are what you find at the bottom of the ocean and on rocks. They are "filter feeders", which means they eat the tiny organisms in the water.
This is a lobster in the ocean, which is its natural habitat. | Some people like to eat them for dinner. They are quite tasty. | The pink thing in this picture is a starfish. They come in all sizes and colors.
Butterflies start their lives as caterpillars. Then they make a cocoon and transform, or metamorphosize, into a butterfly! | We all know how scary and icky spiders are! They are actually good though, because they eat annoying insects like flies.
At the top is a stingray. They have a poisonous bulb at the end of their tail, but it's taken out when they are put in captivity. The purple animal is called a hagfish. They do not have jaws.
This is a slug, they aren't cute at all. They're slimy little creatures with no feet or hands. The mucous glands keep them moist so they don't dry out and die.
These dolphins are mammals, like you. This was the last stop of our day at the aquarium, and the best part too. See ya until next time!
