1: use different passwords never use the same password for everything because if a hacker hacks into one of your accounts most likely he is going to try the same password for different accounts
2: Always read the terms and conditions no matter how long it may look you want to keep your personal information to yourself right ? you never know what your getting your self into with these companies
3: Don't provide your email addresses to mailing list unless you need to do so.If you do other companies can sale your email address to different companies.Then you could lots of different mail for things you never signed up for .
4: Disable the "cookies" in your computer.Cookies are data files stored on your computer when you visit certain sites,often used by companies to identify repeat sources customers and personalize visitors experiences.
5: If you have certain things coming to you from companies you may have subscribed to,to get deals or coupons just simply UNSUBSCRIBE. That will stop the random messages and the pop up ads that com on your computer.
6: You can do direct marketing which means the company communicates directly to you and know one else.So that way if someone is trying to get your information that can't because the company would know you directly.So your business transactions would be totally confidential
7: Always limit the number of adds you click on no matter how cool they look.A virus can easily get into your computer and mess things up with just the click of that fake add.Put a virus detector on your computer so you can handle it ASAP.Adds can easily distract you and make you click on them and then it's a scam saying you won a iPad or something.
