1: Lung Cancer Statistics | According to the NCI's SEER Cancer Statistics it is estimated that 115,060 men and 106,070 women will be diagnosed with Lung cancer every year. It is also stated that 156,940 of those people will die from this terrible disease.

2: Causes | One of the main causes of lung cancer is tobacco smoke. Tis includes smoking cigarettes, cigars, and any other tobacco smoking activity. Asbestos is also another cause of lung diseases such as lung cancer.

3: Prevention | The only way to prevent this disease is to change your lifestyle. One of the ways you can do this is to stop smoking. Tobacco is one of the causes of lung cancer so if you want to prevent getting this disease.

4: Risk Factors | Smoking and genes are risk factors of lung disease. The only controllable factor however, is smoking.

5: Symptoms | The symptoms of lung cancer include; Shortness of breath Coughing up blood Wheezing Chest Pain Hoarse Voice Difficulty Swallowing Abdomen pain

6: Treatments | There are many methods of treatment for lung cancer. It all depends on how far the cancer has spread and how well the patient will respond to different types of treatment. Treatments include surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation therapy.

7: Getting Lung Cancer isn't known as a hereditary cancer like others. However you may have an increased risk of getting lung disease if a close family member has had it. | Hereditary?
