BC: About the author: | I attend Lowndes high School, and I was inspired to write a children's book from a project. Being a young adult myself helps me to get in contact with smaller children. My current occupation is child care services. In this experience, I have learned how to work with children, so that helped me as well.

2: Malcolm X was born on May 19, 1925.He has a wife named Betty. He also had six daughters and two twin daughters after he died.

3: Malcolm lead one of the nations largest civil rights events known as the Unity Rally in Harlem.

4: Malcolm was a spokesperson. A spokesperson is someone who speaks out in front of an audience.

5: He also organized the nation of Islam.

6: Malcolm X was a very busy man. He was awarded for many things.

7: He also worked with other public speakers, such as Martin Luther King J.R

8: This is him and Clayton Powell.
